The Galapagos Islands is one of the most exciting destinations in the world for diving, enjoy it aboard Aggressor III cruise.
Guests will have the opportunity to dive with playful Sea Lions, travel to the famous Darwin and Wolf for thrilling diving to see Hammerhead Sharks, Whale Sharks, clouds of Tuna and much more. The Galapagos Aggressor departs from Baltra every Thursday afternoon and are the perfect platform for a Galapagos diving holiday that you will remember for a lifetime.
Our goal is to provide you with the ultimate Galapagos Live Aboard diving experience. The Galapagos Aggressor offers a brand new itinerary in compliance with the Galapagos National Park regulations which requires companies with permits to follow the exact itinerary below. A maximum of four dives will be offered daily; two in the morning and two in the afternoon. In addition, two night dives and two land excursions per week will be offered.
Guests will be met by a crewmember in uniform at the Baltra Airport and transferred to the yacht. Guests will board Thursday. Diving on your Galapagos LiveAboard cruise begins Thursday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Guests will depart the yacht Wednesday after lunch for a private bus tour to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Checkout is Thursday morning at 8 am after a full breakfast. Transportation is provided back to the Baltra Airport for the flight to the mainland.
The Yacht:
The Galapagos Aggressor III is 100 feet long, built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. She is diesel powered, cruise at an average speed of 10 knots and have 110 and 220 volt power onboard. Comfortable accommodations include four deluxe staterooms which have two twin beds and three portholes and four master staterooms with a queen bed (which can be modified to 2 twin beds) and a large window. Each stateroom has a private toilet, shower, hair dryer, TV/media center, temperature controls and safe storage box.
The Galapagos Aggressor III sleeps 16 guests in privacy and comfort. She has a beautiful spacious salon, large covered cocktail desk, chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar, grill, and hot tub. The Galapagos National Park does not allow drones.
There is a variety of nightly entertainment, including diving, fish identification presentations, movies, games and more. If you have a favorite movie or digital presentation we encourage you to bring it along. The staff especially loves new releases of movies, recent magazines and books. A small library of books for exchange is maintained onboard as well as fish identification books for reference.
All meals, snacks and beverages are provided.

ITINERARY
The weeklong trip on the Galapagos Aggressor III starts and ends in Baltra every Thursday.
The Galapagos Aggressor III itinerary in compliance with the Galapagos National Park regulations which requires companies with permits to follow an exact itinerary. A maximum of four dives will be offered daily; two in the morning and two in the afternoon. In addition, two land excursions per week will be offered.
The Galapagos itinerary is controlled by the National Park who grants approval for normal itineraries.
Diving Environment:
- Charter runs Thursday to Thursday.
- Charter includes: 4 dives a day, 2 morning and 2 afternoon. In addition, 2 land excursions per week are offered.
- Depth Range: 40 – 130 ft (12m – 40m)
- June - November average water temperature: 60-75F, 16-24C (Cooler water and Whale Shark sightings are greater.)
- December - May average water temperature: 70-86F, 21-30C (Warmer, clearer water, larger schools of Hammerheads, Manta Rays & Eagle Rays.)
- 5 - 7mm wetsuit recommended. See Captain's Logs to get exact water temperatures.
- All dives are made from two 8 ft x 20 ft dive tenders. The Galapagos Aggressor III does not offer night diving.
Itineraries
Galapagos Itinerary
Galapagos is one of the most exciting destinations in the world. The scenic view of the Darwin Arch is as picturesque as you can imagine.
The following dive schedule provided is based on tides, currents, and weather conditions.
Thursday: Baltra Airport, afternoon greeting by staff, bus transfer to the Itabaca Channel (Canal) and boarding. Welcome and orientation dive at North East Coast of Santa Cruz Island at the Itabaca Channel.
Friday: 2 morning dives; Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island), an afternoon hike to Bartolome Summit and panga ride at Pinnacle Rock.
Saturday: January to May: 2 morning dives at Roca Blanca Island; 2 afternoon dives: 1 dive at Cowley Island and 1 dive at Cabo Marshall Isabela Island. June to December: 4 dives at Darwin Island, 2 morning dives and 2 afternoon dives.
Sunday: January to May: 4 dives at Wolf Island; 2 morning, 2 afternoon dives. June to December: 2 morning dives at Darwin and 2 afternoon dives at Wolf Island.
Monday: January to May: 2 morning dives at Darwin and 2 afternoon dives at Wolf Island. June to December: 4 dives at Wolf Island, 2 morning dives and 2 afternoon dives.
Tuesday: 2 morning dives at Cabo Douglas and 2 afternoon dives at Punta Vicente Roca.
Wednesday: 1 morning dive at Cousins Rock.
Wednesday afternoon the Galapagos Aggressor III will arrive at Itabaca Channel. After lunch, guests will disembark and go ashore for a private bus tour to see the beautiful Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. This will include a scenic view over Santa Cruz and a visit to a Tortoise Reserve. After the hike, guests will visit the town of Puerto Ayora for shopping and dining (only meal not included).
Later that night, the private bus will transfer guests back to the Itabaca Channel for embarkation.
Thursday: Guests will have a full breakfast then check out and depart for the Baltra Airport. Be sure to remember the suggested 24-hour-no-fly rule when planning your departure. Guests staying at the Galapagos Islands after the cruise will be brought to the dock Itabaca Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz Island, Punta Carrion
Galapagos Dive Sites40 ft. - 90 ft. dive with White Tipped Sharks, Stingrays, Eagle Rays and Marbled Rays, Scorpion Fish, Sea Turtles and Sea Lions.
Bartolome Punta
20 ft. - 90 ft. dive with Groupers, Creole Fish, White Tipped Sharks, Barracudas, Scorpion Fish, Sea Turtles, Guinea Puffer Fish, Red Lipped Batfish, Reef Corals, occasionally Hammerheads and Bottlenose Dolphins.
Wolf Island
1 to 3 knot current; 40 ft. - 90 ft. dive with Schooling Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks, Marble Rays, Galapagos Sharks, Silky Sharks, Eagle Rays, Green Turtles, Octopus, Sea Lions, School of Bonitos Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna, Snappers, Groupers, Wahoo, Barracudas, Almaco Jack, Moray Eels, Parrot Fish, Dolphins, Galapagos Reef Coral, Sea Lions and Fur Seals. Occasionally Whale Sharks and Orcas.
Darwin Island
1 to 3 knot current; 40 ft. - 90 ft. dive with Schooling Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Silky Sharks, Eagle Rays, Green Turtles, Almaco Jack, Snappers, Groupers, Wahoo, Hawksbill Turtles and Whale Sharks. Occasionally Manta Rays and Orcas.
Cabo Douglas, Fernandina Island
20 ft. - 90 ft. dive with Galapagos Penguins, Marine Iguanas, Flightless Cormorants, Sea Lions, Seahorses, Sea Turtles, Horn Sharks, Red Lipped Batfish, Groupers, Snappers, and Creole Fish.
Punta Vicente Roca, Isabela Island
20 ft. – 90 ft. dive with Galapagos Horn Sharks, Red Lipped Batfish, Sting Rays, Marbled Rays, Mola Mola or Pacific Ocean Fish, Seahorses, Galapagos Penguins, Flightless Cormorants, Shrimps, Big Schools of Salema, King Angel Fish, Slipper Lobsters, Blue Footed Boobies, Frigate Birds, and Brown Pelicans.
Cousin Rocks
20 ft. - 100 ft. dive with Eagle Rays, Jacks, Sea Lions, Green Turtles, Barracudas, Fur Seals, King Angel Fish, Snappers, Puffer Fish, Groupers, Marble Rays, Sting Rays, Creole Fish, Black Coral.
Cabo Marshall, Isabela Island (January to May Itinerary)
20 ft. - 100 ft. dive with Giant Manta Rays, Creole Fish, Barracudas, White Tipped Reef Sharks, Sea Lions, Fur Sea Lions, Yellow Fin Tunas, Groupers, Snappers, Salemas.

Rental Dive Equipment:
A full line of Aqua Lung rental gear is available aboard including regulators, BCs and dive computers. You may rent a 7mm wetsuit with hood for $70 per week. If any of your dive equipment fails while onboard, the crew will loan you equipment free of charge, compliments of Aqua Lung.
Certification & Specialty Courses:
Several diving specialty courses are offered onboard including Nitrox, Advanced Open Water, UW Photography, Master Diver and more.
Photo/Video Equipment:
The Galapagos Aggressor III offers a complete digital photo facility including a PC for downloading photos. The Photo pro is available for free coaching with equipment rental. Photo equipment is available to rent separately or as a complete set up. The Galapagos Aggressor III has a strobe charging station and large camera table available for your camera and video equipment. Guests should bring their own battery chargers.
Underwater Video/DVD:
The Video Professional can capture your diving adventure onboard the yachts to share with family and friends. The video of the week/DVD (includes all guests and crew) is $65 USD.
Ships Boutique & Credit Cards:
There is a mini-boutique onboard with assorted t-shirts and miscellaneous items. Due to limited availability, we recommend bringing extra batteries and CD/DVD’s for photos. The Galapagos Aggressor III accepts cash, traveler’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
