Morning arrival at Trelew Airport. Meeting and transfer to the selected hotel for 1-night accommodation with buffet breakfast
In the afternoon, our 4×4 trucks will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Cerro Avanzado. Throughout the tour we drive along trails, sand dunes and cliffs. Along the way you visit Punta Loma, a rookery of southern sea lions (Otaria flavescens), and you explore reef areas and marine fossils, which are part of the invaluable local paleontological heritage.

After breakfast, we depart in the morning for the Protected Area of Peninsula Valdés appointed World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
One hour later we arrive to the charming environment-friendly village Puerto Pirámides for a regular boat tour (optional) to see southern right whales from June to December, and southern sea lions and cormorants from January to March.
Lunch (not included) will be scheduled in Puerto Piramides.
After lunch, you continue your trip to the South of the Peninsula. The ride takes us through wide plains, past two big salt lakes, Salina Grande and Salina Chica, and past Punta Delgada (the southern tip of the Peninsula), before you get to Punta Cantor to appreciate the beauty of the Atlantic coastline and the geological formation known as Caleta Valdés, a stunning ocean inlet.
According to the time of year, these beaches host southern elephant seals, the largest seals on the planet.
On your way back to Puerto Madryn, you make a stop at the Visitor Center Carlos Ameghino, a compendium of the natural wealth of the peninsula.
Along the journey you have good chances of spotting local wildlife such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, cavies, armadillos and skunks.

After that, you visit the Wildlife Reserve Punta Norte, where you can view sea lions and eventually orcas as from December. On the way back, you make a stop at the Visitor Centre situated at the Isthmus Carlos Ameghino.
Along the way you have good chance of viewing animals such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, cavies, armadillos and skunks, among others.

After breakfast, visit to the area known as El Doradillo.
This location is chosen by many southern right whale cows and their calves. Due to the calm waters and the unusual depth of the steep beach, the whales can approach the coast considerably, thus allowing whale watching from land. There is a good possibility that the whales will be as close as 15 to 20 meters/50 to 70 feet off the beach. The excursion is scheduled around the high tide, because of the higher probability to see the whales close by.
After that, transfer by private vehicle with English/Spanish guide to Trelew airport.
