La Paz – Lago Titicaca

Reception of passengers at the airport and then transfer to the selected Hotel for rest.

Tour duration: 4 hours.

On pre-arranged time (14:00 approx.) you depart from the hotel towards the cable car, this is an interesting and amazing way of transportation where you can see the wonderful city then you visit the Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna), spectacular earth formation near the city, created by the wind and erosion of the area, you continue visiting the residential areas of the south part. You also visit  the Killi Killi panoramic viewpoint, from here it is possible to see a great part of La Paz; continuing your visit, you see the main square Plaza Murillo, where the government buildings, such as the Palacio de Gobierno, Senate and the Cathedral are located. Finally, you go to the Indian and Witches markets, where you can make some purchases of souvenirs and maybe a lucky charm.

On pre-arranged time departure from La Paz to Copacabana located on the shores of Lake Titicaca. This picturesque and legendary town, from ancient days is and will continue to be an inevitable pass for the tourists from Peru and La Paz. In the morning you visit the town and the Church, where the famous image of the Virgin de Copacabana is venerated. Afterwards on a motorboat you navigate to the Island of the Moon for a quick visit to the old temple of the Virgins of the Sun, afterwards you head towards legendary Island of the Sun, on this island you will visit some Inca sights such as the Pilkokaina palace, from here you take a walk taking an old Inca trail (40 mins.) to the little port of Yumani, passing by the Inca Garden as well the fountain of the Inca, also known as the fountain of youth. You take your boat again for a 5min boat ride for lunch in a very nice restaurant with view to the lake. Afterwards you head to the lodge; rest of the day is free at leisure to enjoy and relax. Welcome dinner and overnight.

Accommodation on the Isla del Sol "Tacana Lodge"

The lodge is located on the shores of Lake Titicaca with a very nice view of Lake Titicaca.

Breakfast and afterwards you will make a short hike over Inca stone paved road towards to Yumani, a small town where the fountain and garden of the Inca are located. From this port you return to Copacabana there you have time for some souvenirs and have free time before return to La Paz, finally in a vehicle back to La Paz to the Hotel and then rest.
