La Paz – Salar de Uyuni

Arrival to La Paz at night (04:00). You should wait at the airport for connection to the flight to Uyuni (07:40) from El Alto International Airport. Take the flight to Uyuni, it takes around 1 hour, arrival and reception of passengers.

Then you visit the Cementery of train where you stay for some minutes and take pictures after that you go to Colchani artesanal market. Transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast you visit the great Salt Lake, Salar de Uyuni: the world’s largest salt desert offers spectacular views, unforgettable optical illusions, awesome salt hotels, and plenty of photo opportunities. During the rainy season (Dec-Mar), the salt flat could be flooded and it gives a different impression to visitors with all the reflections which make it famous for photography lovers. You will enjoy the 4WD experience for this excursion! You will have a delicious buffet lunch at the middle of the salt desert and free time to enjoy the view. Finally, you head back across the lake arriving to the same hotel.

At 06:00 transfer from the hotel in Colchani to the airport for flight back to La Paz. Reception of passengers at El Alto International airport and then start the City Tour. You depart from the airport towards the cable car in El Alto city.

Tour duration: 4 hours.

This is an interesting and amazing way of transportation where you can see the wonderful city then you go to the Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna), a spectacular earth formation near the city, created by the wind and erosion of the area, you continue visiting the residential areas of the south part. You also visit the Killi Killi panoramic viewpoint, from here it is possible to see a great part of La Paz; after that you visit the main square Plaza Murillo, where the government buildings are located, such as the Palacio de Gobierno, Senate and the Cathedral, after that continuing with your tour you will go to the Indian and Witches markets, you will walk on the Sagarnaga street, Linares street where you can make some purchases of souvenirs and maybe a lucky charm. Finally, transfer to the Hotel.
