Argentina is well known worldwide for its varied geography and, hence, its climate diversity. So the first feeling you will experience is amazement at each one of our postcard-like views. Now, as for climate, you will find three main types: dry, temperate and cold. Is there one type for each type of traveler? Yes, because of the length of our country and its direction from north to south, there are varied temperatures in our territory.
The first thing you need to know is when our country has its each season:
North: summers are hot and humid whereas winters are mild and usually dry. In both cases, though, there is a wide temperature range. So besides packing sun caps and light clothes, you will also need some warm clothes to enjoy the starry skies outdoors.
Center: humidity is a classic one! Summers in the center are warm and winters are cool. Whatever you pack will have to do with the time of the year you are visiting. The average temperature ranges between 15º and 20º.
South: as expected, temperatures are lower there. And, of course, in winter the snow makes it possible to enjoy the Patagonian mountains which dress in white. In summer, however, the average temperature reaches 18ºC and skiing rapidly changes to kayaking in some of the most beautiful turquoise lakes worldwide. You mustn’t forget your snow gear or your swim suit, depending on the season you are traveling.

Documentation to enter the country as a tourist:
Tourist is a foreigner who enters the country for the purpose of leisure or recreation, with an authorized period of stay of up to THREE (3) MONTHS, EXTENDABLE FOR ANOTHER SIMILAR PERIOD. The foreigner who enters as a tourist cannot perform paid tasks.

3.- Entry stamp stamped on the travel document presented by the foreigner upon entering the national territory. *

Our official currency is the Argentine peso. Of course, you can exchange money at the airport or at official exchange houses, but credit cards are welcomed at most stores throughout our territory. The best? Amazing landscapes, excellent cuisine, strategic accommodation, transportation for a few US dollars and a favorable exchange rate. For example, a bus, subway or train ride is just 30 cents of a dollar; a high-quality wine costs 3 US dollars at a supermarket.
